The very first park, built in 1971, the park is found off World Drive it covers 107 acres (43 Ha) split into seven lands. Parking will cost you $7 and lasts the whole day so if you want to do something else in the afternoon but return for firework's that's fine keep your ticket. If anyone in your party is celebrating a birthday you can call in to the City Hall in Magic Kingdom and Guest Services at the other parks for a FREE birthday badge, Cast members like to make a fuss over children (and even adults!) wearing a birthday badge. They can also supply cakes at there restaurants (starting at $7.99). Disney now operate a FASTPASS service this allows you to roam while your place in the queue (Line) is not lost, instructions are found by the machines situated by major rides. The entrance to the Studios can be found off Buena Vista Drive or World Drive, this park covers 154 acres (62 Ha), parking is the same $7 for all day. To answer the question you are thinking? Disney's Epcot can be found off Epcot Drive, it covers 300 acres (122Ha) in Future World and World Showcase. Parking is the same $7 all day. Upon entry you come to Future world split into seven different pavilions arranged around Spaceship Earth (the Giant golf-ball that dominates the Epcot skyline). The second part, World showcase opens at 11am is set around the lake (1.5 miles/2KM walk) takes you on a Journey through different countries with shopping and food experiences of great authenticity. Epcot does warrant two days to see all of it! Don't miss; Illuminations, Disney character bus (around World showcase), live entertainment (including Off Kilter (a band) in Canada, and dinner at any of the World showcase pavilions.

The newest park opened in 1998, it's emphasis is on nature and conservation. This park covers 500 acres (203Ha) and is divided up into six lands. Yes you guessed it parking is $7 all day. From Highway 192, come in on Sherberth Road (turn right at the first traffic lights). Standing tall is the centre piece the Tree of Life it stands a mighty 145-ft (44metre) tall. Don't miss; Pangani Forest Trail, Maharajah Jungle Trek, Rafiki's Planet watch, Tarzan Rocks!, Mickey's Jamming jungle Parade, dining at the Rainforest Café. All the parks offer a locker for rental, and cost $7 ($2 refundable).
Universal Studio's Florida's Universal Studio's opened it's gates in 1990, you'll find the studio off Exits 75A and 74B from I-4; Universal Boulevard and Kirkman Road. The Park covers 110 Acres (45Ha) in seven themed areas. Parking is $8 and can be found in a massive multi-storey and there is quite a walk (with some moving walkways) to the front gate. Lockers can be found to the left when arriving these are $5 ($2 refundable). It's top attractions are Men in Black, Jaws, Back to the Future, ET, Earthquake, Shrek4-D, Terminator 2 and the newest off them all (open Spring 2004) Revenge of the Mummy. This awesome rollercoaster set in Ancient Egypt has you encountering skeleton warriors and passing under the ceiling of flame. Don't miss; Curious George Playground (for kids), The Blues Brothers. Universal may require more than a full day visit in high season!
Islands of Adventure The newest of the Parks opened in 1999 by creative consultant Steven Spielberg, also known as IoA. IoA can be found Off Exits 75A and 74B from I-4; Universal Boulevard and Kirkman Road, the park covers 110 Acres (45Ha) and has six islands. Parking is $8 and you can hire lockers at $6 and $9. Top attractions here include Amazing Adventures of Spider-man, Dueling Dragons, Incredible Hulk Coaster, Jurassic Park River Adventure. Don't miss; Eighth Voyage of Sinbad, Jurassic Park Discovery Centre, If I can Ran the Zoo playground (for kids), Firework Finale (high season only), dining at Mythos. One finale tip you get VERY WET on several rides here take spare clothes.
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon covers 56 acres (23 Ha) are spread around the 2.5 acre (1 Ha) lagoon fringed with white sands and palm trees. Here you can try your hand at snorkelling and lots of tube rides and fun slides for most age groups! When you here the ships hooter sound it's a warning that another batch of six foot waves are to arrive at the beach, hold on to those children!
Disney's Blizzard Beach is a ski resort (in Florida!) the park has snow effect scenery and Christmas trees all placed around Mount Gushmore a (90-ft (27 metre) mountain down which all the main slides run (including the world's tallest free-fall speed slide, the terrifying 120-ft (37-metre) Summit Plummit, which rockets you down a ski jump' at up to 60mph (97kph)! Not all rides are so scary.
Wet' n wild was the first the worlds first water park back in 1977. It offers thrills and spills of the highest quality. It is one the best attended water parks in the country. You will find this one situated on I-Drive.
Water Mania you'll find this one less busy apart from weekends when locals arrive, it has a selection of slides and a 3 Acre (1 Ha) wooded picnic area where you bring your own picnic, although no glass items.Situated on Highway 192, just a mile east of the I-4 intersection.
Sea World Adventure Park Sea world offers a more relaxed and less hectic day. The park has a strong environmental message. The three behind the scenes tours are very good and well worth the extra fee. You can watch Shamu the whale, learn about the plight of the Manatees and watch the Clydesdale dray horses being put through their paces. Don't for get the rides Journey to Atlantis with its 60-ft (18-metre) drop and the newest Kraken new in 2000 the longest, fastest and highest in central Florida. Don't miss; Fireworks at the Waterfront (high season),Manatees: The Last Generation?, Behind the Scenes Tours, Odyssea show, dining at Sharks Underwater Grill.
Discovery Cove Seaworld's sister park set in a tropical pardise, with the chance to swim with dolphins, encounter sharks and snorkelling through a coral reef! This park is much smaller and is limited to a 1000 entries each day, it comes at a price!
